My daughter and her husband first introduced Mark to us when I asked if they knew anyone who did home remodeling. Mark came immediately to their mind, so we scheduled a meeting to discuss our project. When I first met Mark my first impression was how friendly and accommodating he was, as we began to describe what we hoped to accomplish. He listened intently, asked questions and helped guide us through all design options. Once Mark got started, it was amazing to watch him work, he is a truly gifted wood craftsman. Mark did some excellent work removing some damaged soffit on our house, then expertly installed new soffit in less than half a day. Mark’s work for us includes other projects like building a walkway, painting, and indoor plumbing. He has a ton of experience, is very knowledgeable, and loves taking care of his customers — and his work shows it. Someday we’ll have our entire kitchen redone (cabinets, sink, countertops, etc.) and Mark is who we’ll turn to when it’s time. I highly recommend Mark without reservation on any residential work you need. If you’re looking for someone who does cheap work in a hurry, don’t call Mark. If you’re looking for someone who prioritizes quality and extreme attention to detail, then that’s when you call Mark!

I’m a volunteer of a local food bank in New Braunfels. The food bank purchased some property to use as an office and expand our area for clients to have privacy when being interviewed and have a larger space for them to pick up bread and fresh produce. We needed to enlarge some doorways to make it more accessible to our clients and install a window in one of the walls so we could see clients coming in. We had some overzealous volunteers tear out areas that were not supposed to be torn out. Mark heard of our dilemma and not only rebuilt the openings according to our specifications, but installed the glass window in the wall, put up the sheetrock, taped, floated, and textured the area. After putting up the trim he turned it over to us with only painting to do. He was an absolute blessing to us. His work is very professional, and he completed everything in a timely manner. Did I mention that he did not charge us a cent? Not long after that, Mark tiled a shower for us in our guest cabin. His work is superb. I have recommended Mark Jackson to several people and everyone I know that he did work for is thrilled with his workmanship, as are we.
